Sarbati Devi Women�s College provides career guidance and counseling in a personalized manner to their students. The Institution doesn�t merely satisfy the students thirst for knowledge by delivering and arranging a series of lectures in the classrooms. Rather, they help students face the inevitable query �What do I do after I pass out?�

CCC of Sarbati Devi Women�s College, Rajgangpur plays a crucial role in guiding the students to various openings suitable to their competency, economic resources and personal choices. Since the student intake is from different social, economic and academic backgrounds, the students require well planned and organized career counseling at the institutional level for their career progression.
We facilitate students for goal settings, positive interaction, multiple intelligence, self awareness, IQ, EQ, leadership qualities, inter personal and intra personal relationships. We motivate and encourage students for interaction, articulation and exploration. We engage students in activities to realize their interest areas, aspirations and pursue them as a career. Career Counseling Cell (CCC) of the college is a dynamic body functioning to provide wholesome development to the students. The cell works under the Counseling of CCC officers who are seasoned academicians and professionals. The Principal and all faculty members extend their wholehearted support to the functioning of the unit.

Topic: �Career opportunities after completing graduation�
The CCC was conducted on 2nd December 2019. A total of 100 students participated in it. The resource person Dr. P.K Mohanty, Dean Academics, Centurion university, Bhubaneswar highlighted the career scope after completion of graduation. Most of the students were motivated about the future study programmes. They were eager to know about various academic branches, career opportunities and were determined to give their best to the society.

After that a question-answer session was held where students showed their keen interest to know about their career opportunities.

Topic: �Women are better entrepreneurs�

The second CCC was held on 14th February 2020. The resource person was Mr.Bijan Mohan Biswal, Director, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra, Rourkela. He stipulated how women can be better entrepreneurs and work significantly in order to supports themselves, their family and the society. The highlighted theme was �Don�t be a job seeker rather be a job giver.� The women students were motivated to be women entrepreneurs. This innovative platform could yield women entrepreneurs to become independent and goal oriented. He told the students about various career facilities the PRADHANMANTRI KOUSHAL KENDRA is offering freely to the women encouraging them to make the best use of it. The proceedings of the meetings is uploaded in the college website under the DOWNLOAD TAB.

In this programme a total of 124 students actively participated. The students were informed regarding various online job registration sites via a PPT Presentation.
